CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: 25 May 2026
This Cancellation & Non-Refund
Policy (βPolicyβ) applies to all users, customers, and bookings made through
https://suvidhas.com operated by HRK Services, a proprietorship firm registered
in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India.
By accessing or using the Platform,
users agree to this Policy.
1. PLATFORM NATURE
Suvidhas is a technology-enabled
marketplace platform connecting customers with independent third-party Service
Partners for home and appliance-related services including, but not limited to:
- AC repair and servicing
- Appliance repair
- Cleaning services
- Maid services
- Home assistance
- Elder care
- Future service categories
Suvidhas acts only as an intermediary
platform facilitating bookings and operational coordination between customers
and independent Service Partners.
2. CANCELLATION BEFORE ASSIGNMENT
Customers may cancel a booking without
charge only until:
- the booking request has not been accepted by any Service Partner; AND
- no Service Partner has been assigned to the booking.
3. CANCELLATION AFTER ASSIGNMENT
Once a Service Partner has:
- accepted
- been assigned
- dispatched
- or started operational processing for a booking
cancellation may not be permitted and
applicable operational charges may apply.
4. NO REFUND POLICY
Except as specifically mentioned in
this Policy, all payments made through or in relation to the Platform are
generally non-refundable.
5. LIMITED REFUND EXCEPTIONS
Refunds shall be considered only in the
following exceptional situations:
5.1 Duplicate Payment
Where the customer has accidentally made multiple successful payments for the
same booking or transaction.
5.2 Service Non-Delivery / Failed
Booking
Where:
- payment was successfully deducted from the customer; AND
- booking was not successfully completed; OR
- no service was ultimately delivered to the customer; AND
- no alternative service arrangement was successfully completed through the
Platform.
Approved refunds, where applicable, may
take approximately 5β15 business days depending upon banking systems and
payment gateway timelines.
Except for the above situations, all
payments shall remain non-refundable.
6. NO-SHOW & CUSTOMER
UNAVAILABILITY
If:
- the customer is unreachable
- incorrect address/location is provided
- service access is denied
- repeated delays occur from the customer side
- the customer fails to respond after partner dispatch
then the booking may be treated as a
no-show case and operational/visit charges may apply.
7. SERVICE QUALITY & WARRANTY
CLAIMS
Where a limited work warranty is
specifically declared for certain services:
- only covered workmanship-related issues may be reviewed
- warranty does not automatically create refund entitlement
8. AC SERVICE DISCLAIMER
For AC installation, repair, gas
refill, dismantling, or related services:
Refunds, free rework, or warranty
claims shall not apply where:
- leakage develops from untreated or hidden areas
- new technical faults arise after service
- outdoor unit displacement occurs due to monkey activity, animal interference,
storm, accident, vibration, or external impact
- compressor/internal component issues exist
- third-party handling or repair occurs after service
- pre-existing hidden defects were not diagnosable during inspection
9. FRAUD & MISUSE
Suvidhas reserves the right to:
- reject suspicious claims
- suspend abusive accounts
- investigate fraud
- recover operational losses
- initiate civil or criminal proceedings where necessary

11. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed by the
laws of India.
All disputes arising from this Policy
shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Bareilly,
Uttar Pradesh, India.
